Intensive Biochemistry Training

Trainees will gain experience of working both independently and as part of a team during their laboratory practical training. Competencies will be acquired on the following techniques during your practical sessions:
- Specimen Reception
- LIMS
- Centrifugation
- Serum chemistry, Lipid and Bilirubin testing
- Diabetes testing
- Indiko-plus blood analyser
- DxH haematology analyser
- Access 2 immunoassay system
- Calibration and QC validations
- Maintenance checks (Daily/weekly/Monthly)
- Health & Safety at workplace
- Following complex diagnostic SOPs
- Diagnostic Report Interpretation techniques.
