This three-day course is for those organisations that need to start implementing an information security management system (ISMS) that conforms to the ISO 27001 requirements. You will be provided with an overview and background to information security, which will help you to implement a robust ISMS to protect and enhance the future performance of your organisation.

Who should attend?
Attend this course if you are responsible for managing your organisation’s information security and have been tasked with implementing an ISMS certified to ISO 27001.
To attend this training course, you need a good understanding of ISO 27001 and its requirements, which can be gained from attending our Introduction to ISO 27001 course. Participants will be required to bring a laptop with Wi-Fi capability.

What you will learn?
To protect your organisation from a breach in information security, this course will enable you to define the scope of your ISMS and develop objectives. It will help you to identify your assets and determine the risks and their potential impact and apply values to these assets.
This course also includes workshops where you start the process of implementing the requirements in ISO 27001 to share ideas and experiences with other participants. You can then apply this knowledge back into your organisation.
