What will you learn
The format of classes is interactive. Classes will consist of presentations by the tutor and discussion in pairs and small groups. The aim is not for students to hear about philosophy, but to address philosophical problems that still occupy philosophers today. So be prepared to hear views you may disagree with and to be asked to defend your own. In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will receive ongoing formative feedback from the tutor.
