Practice Assessor Preparation / Educator Preparation - Non-Accredited - MC1000

There is a NMC requirement for staff who will have responsibility to supervise, support and assess students to undertake training. Across our Region any member of staff who will be undertaking the assessment of Student Nurses or Midwives or Allied Health Professionals in practice will be required to attend a one day training programme to prepare them to undertake this important role.

Practice Assessor Preparation / Educator Preparation - Non-Accredited - MC1000

This module will enable you to develop into the role of a practice assessor and continue your own professional development. Interactive sessions will encourage you to critically explore your experiences of facilitating practice learning and assessment, in the light of current theory, literature and policy. You will be encouraged to learn with, from and about each other’s roles and professional perspectives, in order to promote a culture of collaboration in the practice learning environment. You will also be encouraged to consider innovative ideas for the improvement of the student learning experience within the wider practice learning environment and develop your working relationships to facilitate learning and assessment for a diverse learner population.
