Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Awareness
This Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course will provide knowledge and understanding of the regulations and its requirements. Substances can take many forms and include: chemicals, products containing chemicals, fumes, dusts, vapours, mists, nanotechnology, gases and asphyxiating gases and biological agents (germs). If the packaging has any of the hazard symbols then it is classed as a hazardous substance. Ignorance is no defence in regard to the well being of staff

Any personnel who comes into contact with chemicals in a workplace and requires a working knowledge of these regulations and who may need to complete COSHH assessments as part of their role.
