Course description
Playwork Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3): This Advanced Apprenticeship gives you the in-depth experience in the role of the Level 3 Playworker, working with children & young people age 4 to 16. You will cover the knowledge and skills needed when working unsupervised. This course is suitable for experienced playworkers who have a wide knowledge and understanding of children & young people and an appreciation of playwork principles & practice. You need to enjoy working with children and have a responsible attitude and commitment to this type of work.

Suitability - Who should attend?
� You must be 18 years or over.� A job as an apprentice in a playwork setting for a minimum of 30 hours per week. If you work fewer hours the length of time on your apprenticeship will be longer.� A minimum of 1 year�s relevant industry experience and/or a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.� You must pass an initial assessment in English & maths.� You will have an interview.� A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the start of the course.
