Blended First Aid at Work
This is a blended first aid at work course, meaning that most of the theoretical aspects of the course are done online. Suitability - Who should attend?
This first aid at work training is the highest level of First Aid that we offer. The majority of our clients work in “high risk environments” . The following industries are considered “high risk”:
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Sport
- Railroad
- Warehousing
- Hospitality / Hotels
We advise the majority of our corporate clients that they legally do not need this training but rather theEmergency First Aid at Work coursehowever, you should ensure at least one person within your organisation is First Aid at Worktrained.
This ensures there is one go to person in case of an incident. One person who is supremely confident in their First Aid abilities. While you always need a minimum of two people within the organisation who are First Aid trained in case of your First Aider falls ill or is off on holiday.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The trainers employed by Siren are presently working or ex emergency service professionals. Each trainer has many years of life saving experiences and techniques to share with you.
Following successful completion of the course, each student is awarded with a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years. Under current guidelines it is strongly recommended that you refresh your Emergency First Aid skills once every 12 months through a half day refresher course.

- Wounds, Bleeding & Shock
- Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
- Burns & Scalds
- Record Keeping & Accident Reporting
- Anaphylaxis
- Chest Injuries
- Head injuries
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Heart Attack / Angina
- Practical demonstration and use of an AED
