This course is ideal for anyone working within the retail sector, in a supervisory role upwards. The Level 3 Apprentice has three pathways that learners can work towards depending on their job role and will help/ support them to have a better understanding of the retail sector at this level.
You will study a range of subject areas including: Customer service; Selling Process; Personal and team effectiveness; Store operations; Recruitment; Visual Merchandising; Management of Risks to Health and Safety; Security and loss prevention and Managing stock control.
Assessment is by practical observations, course work, assignments and external tests. Throughout your course you will continue to develop your English and Maths skills in your vocational classes. If you haven't achieved an A*/1 - C/4 grade in English or Maths at GCSE, or a Level 2 Functional Skill, you will also be working towards a qualification in English or Maths at a level that will enable you to progress towards these grades. On completion of the course learners will be qualified to work within the retail industry at supervisory level and above and will help as part of the career progression route within the sector.
