Course description
Introduction
Ideal if you're interested in learning sign language and have no previous experience or knowledge. You'll learn the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) and gain a recognised qualification.
By the end of this course you will have covered
Getting around
Exchanging information
Refreshments
Using numbers.
Assessment
During the BSL Stage 1, Module 3 exam you'll have a four to five minute conversation with your tutor using a topic given to you, which will be recorded.
Next Steps
You can progress on to the BSL Stage 2 qualification at South Thames College.
