Despite already knowing some SQL, I felt that I've learnt a lot and the Trainer has kept me interested throughout the course.

Would have liked some practical content on Mail systems - configuring Exim/Postfix etc relays etc etc troubleshooting mail server problems

All material was very relevant to the course objectives . Very interesting and well presented.

Although I personally found the pacing a little fast in places, instruction was very good and the course notes and examples of good and detailed quality.

Good overall introduction to MySQL which suited my needs for the project I'm working on.

Well structured and well explained, lecturer obviously knew the system in detail and explained both theoretical and practical very well.

The trainer was excellent in his method and approach in presenting the topic.

The course should really be run as a 5 day course as there was too much content to fit into 4 days especially if delegates experience problems with the system.

Good for certification exam. Practicals would make more of a workshop and scripts of steps for improving performance on an example DB in a logical progression.

I would feel it would be better the course is run over 2 days, there is a lot to take in that is quite relevant, and you have a very competent trainer.

A sound knowledge of Redhat linux is advisable before taking this fasttrack, and not just good Unix skills as topics covered vary greatly from other flavours of Unix.
