Course description

This part time postgraduate module of 30 credits is open to registered nurses. It can be studied as part of a programme leading to postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma or MSc. It can also be studied as a stand alone module to meet SSPRD requirements supporting extended nursing roles.

This module aims to synthesise critical thinking in the evaluation of knowledge and skills in order to effectively appraise, assess and intervene in the management of the critically ill. To develop and implement interventions supporting the wellbeing of a critically ill adult.
