Course description
This part time 30 credit work based module is available for registered nurses. It can be studied as part of a programme leading to a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc, or as a stand alone module.
This module aims to:
- Support learning towards the achievement of competencies, for nurses practicing in extended or advanced roles within their specified area of practice
- Help students to develop and apply advanced decision making skills
Competencies will be negotiated within the student's clinical area and achievement of these competences will be supported by a clinical supervisor and an academic supervisor.
