Course description
This course is designed for graduate level entrants who wish to specialise in - or develop their ability to provide - workforce development. It will be of particular interest to those with a responsibility for delivering training, or other in-service/induction training related to dementia as well as undertaking staff mentoring/supervision and practice development activities.
In addition to the skills and awareness gaining from the PgDip, the MSC programme will enable you to complete a practice based project on a subject relevant to your own field of dementia training or educational practice. In the process you will gain important skills in constructing sound arguments and demonstrating familiary with relevant theory, literature and evidence to support your practice as an educator as well as practice based skills through conducting the project work.
