Course description
This module aims to assist radiographers and other health professionals who aspire to work at an advanced level of practice. It will enhance the student's knowledge and understanding of advanced practice and assist students in evaluating their professional roles within the context of advanced practice ideals.
The module will be introduced through a small number of lectures and tutorials within the academic environment where the student will be introduced to the concepts and potential components of advanced practice; critical reflection and portfolio development. The students will be encouraged to enter into discussion and debate the issues surrounding advanced practice. Exercises and discussion opportunities to direct student learning and assist in portfolio development will be provided through the University VLE.
