Respiratory Care NURS-1522
This module is designed for qualified staff working in a health environment who currently manage patients with respiratory conditions.
COPD is the fifth biggest killer in the UK (DoH 2010). It is also a major cause of morbidity and costs NHS Primary & Secondary Care more than many other diseases.
The module examines all aspects of the management of respiratory care in the primary and secondary health sectors.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Must have recently completed a first degree. In addition evidence of all studies must be clear within your application.
Upon completion of this module as a stand alone entity. Credit gained could be utilised as part of the BSc Hons in Professional Practice in Health and Social Care and the PG enhanced Practice for level 7.

You will have the opportunity to critically examine and build upon your existing knowledge and skills related to respiratory care via a range of teaching and participatory learning.
