Course description
This one-day course will provide an introduction to quantitive statistics in health research. Participants will gain an understanding of how to collect and analyse quantitative data using SPSS software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).
The day will consist of short lectures, case studies and practical group exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their projects one-to-one with the course leaders as well as to share experiences of other delegates.
Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS)

Led by Stephen Peckham, CHSS’s key strength is the diverse expertise and skills of the Centre's researchers who are research active in the fields of Primary Care, Public Health, Public Policy, Health Psychology, Palliative Care, Statistics, Public Engagement, Clinical Trials and Health Economics.
CHSS research staff also help, support and advise external researchers to develop and undertake research projects through the NIHR Research Design Service South East (RDS SE).
