Course description
Who is the programme for?
This programme will be attractive to health care professionals working in Neonatal Care who wish to gain, or update, knowledge and skills required for the safe management of neonates in specialist care settings.
What qualifications are gained?
On successful completion of this programme you will be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Care and will have earned 60 credits at level 3..
Entry Requirements
- Current healthcare practitioner registration with the relevant regulatory body (NMC, HPC etc) and Certified evidence of the ability to study at Level 3
- English Language GCSE Grade C or equivalent (for those whose first language is not English the relevant Professional Body IELTS requirement)
- Identification of a named practice assessorandA minimum of 6 months experience with the relevant client / patient group.
- Opportunities for the accreditation of prior learning and prior experience exist through the School’s credit accumulation and transfer procedures.
This programme is free to all NHS employees working in the area covered by the Yorkshire and Humber (see separate fees information) as the fees are paid by the LETBes. However, you should always discuss any proposed study with your manager as they maintain interest in your educational and professional development.
