Course description
On completion of this postgraduate level short course participants will have explored the role of the humanities in the development of a wider understanding of health, illness and healthcare, with a particular emphasis on teaching and learning within a medical education context.
The syllabus will include: the role of the creative arts in narrative approaches to health, illness and patient encounter with the written word and the visual arts - photography, film and drama.
The course is suitable for all healthcare professional interested in applying the humanities to their teaching.
