- Design and conduct of clinical trials
- Health economics and meta-analysis
Learning
- 22 ½ hours of seminars
- 7 ½ hours of practicals/workshops
- 120 hours of guided independent study
Assessment
- Analysis of sample data and written report (70%)
- Critical appraisal of research designs (30%)
Start Dates
- November each year.
Study Commitment: 5 full days (9.00am-4.00pm) plus additional reading
This course, when assessed, will award 15 university credits. These credits can be transferred towards other Higer Education awards including:
PGCertificate / MRes in Applied Health Research.
PGCertificate / PG Diploma or MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
