Course description
This hands-on course aims to give a refresher for assessment of IOTN in orthodontics and
also aims to give clinicians knowledge of identifying cases suitable for orthodontic
treatment and the best dental stage for referral.
By attending this course you will:
? be able to assess IOTN for patients Assess the suitability and timing for orthodontic
referral
? understand possible intervention to prevent orthodontic problems developing in the
developing dentition
? understand where and when to make orthodontic referrals and the use of NHS referral
systems
