Course description
This course aims to provide a clinically relevant update on the presentation and management of
common oral medicine conditions which are likely to be encountered in General Dental Practice.
This refresher will be relevant to dental professionals and also to those medical professionals who
are involved in providing oral care.
Objectives
By attending this course you will:
1. develop their understanding of varying presentations of mouth ulcers and their
management.
2. develop their understanding of varying presentations of white patches and their
management.
3. develop their understanding of common intra-oral lumps and their management.
4. develop their understanding of the importance of early diagnosis of Oral Cancer and how to
do achieve this in Practice.
