Course description

Leading Change - face-to-face delivery

At the Bristol Business School, our portfolio of Open Programmes offers you and your business a flexible learning solution. We offer a wide selection of short programmes covering a range of topics, including Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring, Innovation, and Design Thinking, among many others. All our programmes are designed and delivered by experienced academics and practitioners and combine cutting-edge research and thought leadership with a practical, real-world focus, meeting professional and industry needs.

Several of the programmes in our Open Programme portfolio can also be taken as part of a full programme qualification. For example, successful completion of the optional assessment in 'Leading Change', enables you to achieve 15 credits towards the attainment of a PG Certificate in Leadership and Management.

To obtain the full PG Certificate in Leadership and Management, you will also need to attend and complete the assessment for Personal Mastery in Leadership (15 credits) and the Strategic Leaders Programme (ILM Level 7) (30 credits). The latter also provides you with an ILM Level 7 qualification.

Change programmes often fail for a number of reasons, such as, the mismanagement of the human aspects of the change initiative and a failure to deliver on the benefits of the change.

Leading Change is a highly practical programme that provides you with the opportunity to develop an understanding of theoretical models, skills and frameworks to underpin change leadership practice.
