Course description

This course will bring together senior conservators who have worked on many of the iconic historic interiors conservation projects of the last three decades.  As well as presenting more recent work, they will also look back on the development of cutting edge approaches to conservation and the increasing demand for well researched and sustainable reconstruction using both traditional and digital techniques.

Specialist topics will cover investigation and survey, conservation and reinstallation and include carpets, wallpapers, flooring, panelling and fitted furniture, stained and painted glass, scientific and contextual research. They will also discuss the joys and dilemmas revealed as the conservator/researcher uncovers the past.

Non-residential fee:  £426

Fully-inclusive residential fee:  From £561
