Hello I am looking for api 510/570/653 training centers in europe - does anyone know any?

Hi Panapakidis,

thank you for your question and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We have do have one or two providers offering courses that are based around the standards set by the American Petroleum Insitute (API). You can look through them here, though it does seem that they are all based in North America rather than in Europe.

In truth, if you visit the API website you will see that most of their certifications don't require specific professional training in order to be able to sit the exam. They require a mixture of experience and education, but the education part is usually either a high school diploma (in which case you will probably need 5+ years of experience) or a University degree (in which case you will only need 1-2 years of experience).

From what I understand, they API doesn't actually having any training centres, even in North America. It's just some independent providers who cover the standards in their courses.

So if you meet the requirements, you can apply to take the exam directly without any additional training. As the exams are all now computer-based, it should be relatively easy for you to apply and to sit it at the next available date.
