Systemic Team Coaching® Certificate
This 3-day programme by the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) is designed to train professional coaches in organisations that are looking to motivate and manage their teams in times of change and uncertainty. Now more than ever, organisations are looking for new ways to develop high-performing teams that thrive in a fast-changing operating environment, in which success requires the ability to adapt and connect with multiple stakeholders and systems.
Systemic Team Coaching offers a new and effective intervention which draws on the core skills of executive coaching and applies them to team development. It involves coaching a team to identify what its organisation, customers and stakeholders really need from it, as well as changing how it thinks and works to meet those needs.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This team coaching training programme is for experienced coaches and OD consultants who already have some team coaching or facilitation experience and who want to deepen their practice. Typically, participants include experienced organisational consultants, executive coaches, business/team leaders and training managers.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The STC Certificate course is accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF) for 19 CCEUs (Continuing Coach Education Units).
Training Course Content
Through this interactive and experiential three-day programme, you will gain:
- A foundation-level understanding of the core concepts of systemic team coaching (STC) theory and practice
- Knowledge of the STC process for structuring a team coaching project
- An understanding of the Hawkins’ Five Disciplines model and its application to team coaching
- Experience of live experiments that explore the nature of team and group functioning and how to apply some of these
- An understanding of the importance of ‘Self as Instrument’ in the STC role – physical senses, intuition, body as data collector and sense-maker
- Accreditation to use the Team Connect 360 diagnostic and experience of interpreting a TC360 report
- Insight into the one-year ICF accredited Diploma and completion of the Foundation Module
