This course is ideal if you have successfully completed the Level 1 programme and want to expand your skills and knowledge.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Four GCSEs at grades 3 (D) or above in English language, maths and science or achievement on a Level 1 course.
Completion of a Level 1 Carpentry course is also acceptable supported with GCSE English and Maths alongside a reference from a college tutor.
You must demonstrate self-motivation and a keen interest in the subject area.

On this programme you will learn the attributes, values, skills and attitudes for working in the construction industry, with a specialist focus on carpentry and joinery (bench joinery).
