Level 1 Carpentry Diploma must have been completed and achieved. GCSE Maths and English at grade 3 (grade D) or above, or equivalent.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Bench Joinery or Site Carpentry Level 3 Diploma.
Training Course Content
Topics include:
- Using portable power tools
- Setting up and operating cutting and shaping machinery
- Carrying out first fixing operations
- Carrying out maintenance to non-structural carpentry work
- Carry out second fixing operations
Course delivery details
25% theory in the classrooms and 75% practical activities in the workshops.
