Course description

Students on this course will engage with a range of practical processes and techniques such as photography, lighting, audio, animation, studio, location, and image editing skills.

Research and problem-solving skills allow students to investigate ideas in response to assignment themes. Visual language skills are also explored via fine art workshops, designed to enhance an appreciation for the formal elements.

A series of guest speakers, group trips and opportunities to collaborate with others help enrich the student experience.

This course is the UAL Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art and Design Diploma.

Course delivery details

There are no exams, instead students are challenged with finding creative solutions to coursework, designed around the seven mandatory units that lead towards a final major project in Unit 8.

Homework:

You will be expected to complete a minimum of 4-6 hours of independent study per week.
