BTEC Extended Diploma in Motorsport Engineering Level 3

If you would like to work in the Motorsport industry as part of a pit crew then this course is ideal. You will train as a vehicle technician - covering both the practical and theoretical aspects of the job - and you'll have the chance to apply your knowledge by working as part of the College's pit crew at weekend race events. The course is made up of 6 units including: Motorsport health and safety Vehicle Systems Engine Technology Engineering Design Manufacturing Technologies Logistics of moving the vehicle and equipment to the race venue Thermodynamics Aerodynamics Engine Performance Materials You will also complete a project, the theme of which will be discussed with your course tutor.
