Take this first step on your learning journey with the ISO 22000 Internal Auditor Practitioner qualification from BSI. This qualification will teach you skills to help improve your organization’s food safety performance and assess and report on the conformance and implementation of processes based on ISO 22000.
Gain a thorough insight into food safety management systems and the key concepts and structure of ISO 22000, key terms, definitions and the ISO standardized high level structure. You’ll learn to interpret and apply the key concepts and principles of the standard to existing processes within your organization, as well as how to initiate an audit, prepare and conduct audit activities, compile and distribute audit reports, and complete follow-up activities.

- Understand what a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) is and why an FSMS and its benefits are important to an organization
- Gain an understanding of the background of ISO 22000:2018 and its intended results
- Learn the terms and definitions used as well as the key concepts and structure of ISO 22000:2018
- Understand the main requirements of ISO 22000:2018
- Be able to explain the guidelines of management system auditing according to ISO 19011
- Determine the application of ISO 19011 guidelines to auditing ISO 22000
- Understand how to initiate and complete the audit
- Learn to prepare and conduct audit activities
- Prepare and distribute the audit report
- Understand how to complete an audit follow up

- Explain the guidelines of management system auditing according to ISO 19011

Each module is followed by a mandatory online multiple-choice examination. Delegates must pass the examination to be awarded the qualification.
