This course offers an extensive introduction to Creative Media, providing insights into its significant impact on our world. From television and film to radio and podcasts, as well as the dynamic realm of online and social media, this course prepares you with the skills required for a thriving career in the diverse media industry.
Year One:
UCAS Points &ndash Pass (36), Merit (60), Distinction (84)
Engage in practical lessons and vocational projects to develop both theoretical knowledge and technical expertise across various media forms. The course, centered around project-based assignments, focuses on the application of contemporary skills. Its an excellent opportunity to build an impressive portfolio for university applications, apprenticeships, or employment.
Projects are set in real industry contexts, including live assignments with actual partners and clients. Collaborate with other creative media practitioners within the CRC community and the wider industry, enhancing your practical experience and network.
Explore the breadth of media, including digital content creation, film, radio, and interactive media. Gain hands-on experience in our state of the art studios, learning to craft compelling stories and engaging content.
Year Two:

Progressing from the first year, youll enter the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma Year 2. This stage emphasizes self-directed learning through one-to-one tutorials, workshops, and independent research. You will develop and execute projects tailored to your interests, culminating in a final major project (FMP) that showcases your skills and creativity.

Suitability - Who should attend?
A range of methods, which may include projects, assignments, case studies, course work, self-assessment, feedback from clients and panel reviews, continually assesses course work. Grades from Pass, Merit, Distinction may be awarded to course work.
The Study Programmes are over 5 days each week.
There is regular one to one tutorial provision.
