Course description
The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS-R) has been designed for experienced Site Managers looking to renew their existing CITB SMSTS Certification via a 2-Days Refresher Course
This is a Site Safety Plus (SSP) from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) which brings benefits to site managers, supervisors, industry stakeholders and employers in the construction industry.

Entry Requirements
Please note that you must hold a valid, in-date CITB SMSTS Certification to be eligible for this course.
This course is intended for those experienced professionals with a site management background in the construction industry. Those without previous health and safety management experience are recommended to sit the two-day SSSTS course.

Accreditation
Following successful completion of both the theory and practical elements of your training course with us, you will be provided awarded your CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), qualification certificate valid for 5 years.
CDC Group is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and a Site Safety Plus (SSP) Training Centre.
Training Course Content
This training course is delivered over 2 consecutive Weekend Days (Saturday & Sunday), on Microsoft Teams Online, and includes:
- Module 1 – Legal and Management
- Module 2 – Health and Welfare
- Module 3 – General Safety
- Module 4 – High Risk Activities
- Online, Multiple-Choice Final Assessment Exam (35 Questions – Pass Mark 80%, 28 out of 35)
