Cheema Services Ltd - Apprenticeship Training

Cheema focuses on supporting people with the opportunity to develop and sustain a lifelong career.

Apprenticeships for City and Guilds Level 2 in railway engineering for 18 (plus) year olds are commenced approximately every eight weeks from both our Cardiff and Rochester offices. Each course lasts approximately twelve months.

Through this programme working in partnership with awarding bodies, we aim to introduce new younger recruits to the rail industry. During a year-long programme each candidate is employed by Cheema and works with a Technical mentor to gain new skills through theory-based and work-based learning which will at the end of the programme leads to a City and Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma qualification in Railway Engineering.

Our Apprenticeship covers both theory and practical activities as well as working in a live railway environment (above)

Having provided the initial learning opportunity, we hope that this will be a stimulus to the Candidate to further develop and progress their careers within the rail industry and with Cheema.
