Course description

First Line Manager Training: 2-Day Course in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff

This course is available as face-to-face or interactive online training, or as an in-house course (both face to face and online).

First line managers have a difficult time because they often feel under pressure from all sides; from their own team members, from more senior managers, as well as pressure from customers.

This two-day First Line Managers training course is designed to help participants develop a series of methods to allow them to function more confidently and with more skill in the management of people, conflict management, communication, motivation and time management. These important skills will help them inspire the rest of the team to move forward together.

Delegates who attend this First Line Managers training course will:

  • Inspire a positive mental attitude in the team and motivate others.
  • Be able to handle difficult people, quickly and easily.
  • Achieve your targets and gain respect.
  • Learn how to handle interruptions and distractions.
  • Improve their communication skills to give clear instructions.
  • Learn how to delegate.
  • Be able to solve problems before they occur with proper planning and preparation.
  • Learn how to give constructive criticism.

Corporate Coach Training is an ILM Recognised Training Provider as well as being CPD accredited.

The course covered a lot of practical information that was presented in a way that made it easy for me to apply it to my work. Not only has it reinforced things that I am already doing, but it has provided me with other strategies to improve areas of my work that I know realise need more attention.
M Kemp, Cue Media Ltd
The course has now given me a framework to work by. From planning to conflict management, I now feel I have the tools to deal with almost any situation that arises within the workplace. The course content has been very well thought out and broken down into relevant sections that we all come across daily. I found the smart system and wrong box/right box systems very useful tools. The trainer was very clear, explanations were concise. I also found the course very engaging and uplifting.
