Romantic Art in Britain
Realism in France
Women artists in the 19th Century
The Barbizon school
The Pre Raphaelite Brotherhood
Victorian Art
Teaching/Learning Methods:
Interactive presentation Lecture based course using high Resolution slides
A Gallery trip.
Directed independent study as well as group based activities.
Assessment Pattern:
Your progress and achievement will be recognised throughout the duration of the course.
You will learn to evaluate your understanding and recognise areas for improvement with help from your tutor.
At the end of the course you and your tutor will discuss and record what you have achieved and what you still need or want to learn.
Progression Opportunities:
On completion this course leads to further CALAT Art History courses which take a chronological approach to the subject.
