CThA is passionate about ensuring that complementary therapies are recognised for their value in both the health and education sectors and as such works very closely with the Complementary and Natural Health Council (CNHC) to ensure that our members have a direct route to access their register if they chose to work in main stream health care.

Our members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and specialties and we are able to offer them a wealth of experience and support through our Council of specialists, as well as through our local and regional support groups. We understand the needs of our members and ensure that they are able to spend time with likeminded therapists by attending local and regional group events in order to share ideas and support each other in their daily work.

Due to our longevity and the high standards of therapists within our membership body we have achieved exemptions from the Special Treatment licenses required in many major Cities but in particular the London Boroughs, which can save our members up to £1000 per year and a lot of unnecessary administrative stress.

We all continue to work to ensure that CThA continues to be the Association of choice for all high quality therapists who are passionate about the amazing results complementary therapies can achieve and to raising awareness of their benefits for all.
