Dearne Valley College
Dearne Valley College sits in the heart of South Yorkshire, in the Dearne Valley, at the meeting point of three boroughs (Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley). Rockingham College of Further Education was founded in 1976, and renamed Dearne Valley College in September 1996 when a new £7.5 million development was opened on the site of the former Manvers Colliery. They are an independent body with charitable trust status.
