Derwentside College Apprenticeships 

Derwentside College is based in Consett, County Durham and is relentless in its focus to develop its apprentices as well as its service to employers.

They have an innovative approach to employer engagement which has helped to make them one of the largest and most successful apprenticeship providers in the country.

In 2015-16 they worked with around 1,100 employers to deliver training to 5,800 apprentices, and they were in the top 10% nationally for their volume of higher apprenticeships.

Derwentside College has been at the forefront in promoting the Apprenticeship Reforms to employers, well in advance of Levy Implementation, working extremely hard to promote the Government's 2020 vision to a huge range of public and private sector employers.
