Course summary
The evolution of complicated and high risk medical and surgical procedures in small animal practice has been facilitated by the use of advanced anaesthesia techniques. This day of lectures will include presentations on mechanical ventilation, the use of neuromuscular blockade and advanced analgesia and monitoring modalities, focussing on useful and practical tips for understanding and implementing these techniques. We will also look at ECG traces and their interpretation with respect to anaesthesia.
