Course description
Consultation skills are an important aspect of the work undertaken by veterinary nurses, but is not often taught. This CPD day will be split into two halves – the first looking at the consultation skills that should be utilised by veterinary nurses, whether in clinics or during surgical admission appointments. The second half will concentrate on the more difficult medical clinics such as diabetes, renal and urinary. We will look at the information you need to tell clients, how to convey that information across and also discuss the important aspects of the disease process that must covered in these clinics.
