Course description
Ophthalmic patients can be scary to manage due to the fragile nature of the eye. This course will cover a refresher on the eye itself, how to prepare the eye for surgery safely and how to handle patients with a fragile eye. We will work through things to worry about and what not to worry about, with the aim to improve your confidence in nursing the ophthalmic patient.

- Patient preparation for surgery
- Common ophthalmic drugs
