Course description
The day will concentrate on all aspects of feline medicine for consulting veterinary nurses. We will be looking at lifestage aspects, kitten, adult and senior; and then medical issues (renal, thyroid, mobility, obesity and urinary). Looking at encouraging more cat owners to bring their cats to the practice, and why feline friendly aspects do make a real difference.
Specific areas to be covered
- Nutritional requirements of each lifestage, including differences in senior feline diets
- Importance of blood pressure measurement
- How to encourage more senior cats to be presented to practice
