Course description

Cats can be challenging patients to nurse from their behaviour within the veterinary practice through to their ability to mask signs of pain. The veterinary nurse must be vigilant and most of all understand a cat’s behaviour if they are to nurse a feline patient successfully. This day will look at a range of different topics and focus on the trials of nursing cats from their behaviour in the hospital environment to successfully assessing cats for pain as well as looking at common problems such as anorexia in cats and stress related diseases such as feline idiopathic cystitis.
