Course description
This course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Persian. Each session of the course will be planned to practise all four skills of writing, reading, listening and speaking. Understanding of Persian culture and customs is encouraged through the course. Students will be encouraged to practise between lessons.
By the end of the course you will have been given the opportunity to learn:
Introductions and greetings
Personal pronouns
Learn alphabet
Seek and give personal details: gender, nationality, age, etc
Express possession
Use numbers 1-1000
Talk about past events
Make comment about food, film and party
Days of week
Singular and plural forms
Carrying out social interaction in Persian in a variety of situations
Seek and give your home address
The definite and indefinite object and object pointer
Ordinal number
Express an opinion
Make comparisons
