This course is designed to give managers and supervisors fire safety and risk management skills in a variety of workplaces.
Course Aims
Who Should Attend Our NEBOSH National Fire Certificate is designed for managers and supervisors who are responsible for ensuring that their organisation adheres to fire safety legislation, as well as individuals who are looking to work as a fire safety adviser. This course will equip Participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out fire risk assessments across a variety of workplaces. Once the course has been completed, Participants will also be able to identify a range of fire protective and preventative measures.
Certification
For Unit FC1, Participants will be assessed on a two-hour written examination. The written papers are assessed by NEBOSH external examiners. For Unit FC2, Participants will be required to complete a practical examination within their own workplace. The assessment is to be taken within 14 days of the completion of the FC1 written examination. The practical examination is moderated externally by NEBOSH and assessed internally by the provider of the course.
