Using Design Thinking to Drive Innovation
A new kind of leadership and thinking is required if innovation is the goal. The Design Thinking approach allows us to address a wide range of complex challenges, using a human-centered perspective towards solving a problem. The Design Thinking creative methods enable organizational change, combining what is desirable from a user point of view with what is economically viable and technologically feasible to create a better future for customers.
However, Design Thinking is not another process, delivery framework or set of steps that needs to be followed; it requires a change of individual mindset and organizational culture.
By sharing personal experience, Denis Vukosav will provide insights on how to encourage change and use Design Thinking to successfully drive innovation in an organization. Additionally, some of the key Design Thinking challenges on the innovation journey will be discussed and ways to resolve them will be suggested.
