Course description
Chartered Director Programme
Chartered Director is the only professional qualification for alldirectors that demands both knowledge and experience of howto make boards effective, as well as a commitmentto continuous Professional Development. It enables directors to clearly identify and develop their roles and responsibilities, while benchmarking their skills against those of their peers and learning from their own and others' experiences. Together, these elements are designed to provide the all-round competence, knowledge and understanding necessary for directors in all sectors to successfully lead their organisation from a strategic point of view.
As a long-established professional awarding body, the IoD is the only Institute in the world to offer qualificationsfor directors under Royal Charter. Increasing numbers of influential businesses, institutional shareholders and their advisershave continued to recommend this qualification for executive and non-executive directors.
This programme is designed to be participative as well as highly flexible, giving you a range of different options in terms of training formats and schedules. These include e-learning elements, face-to-face workshops (delivered nationwide across the UK) and in-company tailored programmes for single organisations. Directors can build their own blended learning programmes based on the demands of their busy schedules, updating their knowledge and skills while continuing to perform their day-to-day duties.
