"Interactive" Presentation Skills
(Face to face or Online)
This course from LaPD Solutions gives the fundamental skills required to deliver a professional presentation. However, it focuses on how we can engage our audiences using the human desire to interact. This, in turn, creates a self buy-in from your attendees and does not rely on the usual presenter buy-in approach.
During your course, participants will learn how to use interactive skills that will help involve the audience, including their attendees in mini discussions and short activities which help sell the idea/concept/service being presented.
The second day of the course will see each attendee deliver an informal presentation to the remainder of the group. The facilitator and fellow attendees offer constructive feedback to aid future presentations and development. Each attendee will receive their own copy of their presentation in a high-quality HD Video file.

Day 1.
- Discussing the key aspects of a presentation and why people become disengaged.
- The structure of a LaPD presentation.
- Planning and Preparing the presentation
- Building confidence
- Body Language
- The use of images
- Engagement
- Captivating your audience and the art of interactive presentation
- Group participation activities
Day 2.
Delivering an informal interactive presentation to the remainder of the group (Recorded). The facilitator and fellow attendees offer constructive feedback to aid future presentations and development. Each attendee will receive their own copy of their presentation in a high-quality HD Video file.
Course delivery details
We offer both classroom/Face to Face (F2F) and online (Zoom) options.
Our (F2F) option can be facilitated at your organisation or at a venue booked by you for that day.
Our online sessions are facilitated through Zoom. They are converted from a one-day classroom-style event into a series of interactive Zoom sessions totalling 8 online hours.
Each Zoom session can be planned to last 2, 3 or 4 hours (4 is our maximum duration).
All our sessions come with direct post-event support.
