Course description

Without Oil Country Tubular Goods known as OCTGs, very little work would be done in the oil and gas fields of the world.  OCTGs are products used in the oil industry like pipes, casings, and tubing. These products can be both seamless and welded and are made from corrosion-resistant steel alloys that come in a variety of wall thicknesses and grades.

Oil country tubular goods (OCTG) is a family of seamless rolled products consisting of drill pipe, casing and tubing subjected to loading conditions according to their specific application

By attending  Introduction to Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) Training course, you will learn how the geology of ground and drilling conditions require OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) with different characteristics; how tubular string design is performed; and how selected products are manufactured and tested.
