Have you ever considered how you might contribute to the care of vulnerable adults in society? This course provides the necessary preparation for any role within adult social care, in order to ensure the needs of vulnerable people continue to be met. The qualification covers a variety of topics with a focus on safeguarding, equality and diversity and communication in an adult care setting.

Suitability - Who should attend?

To qualify for a FREE Level 1, 2 or 3 online learning course, you must:

  • You must be aged 19 years or over as at 1/9/21
  • You must have lived in the UK for the last three years, or be able to prove your residency status, for example, indefinite leave to remain, settled status or you are an Asylum seeker who has been in the UK for more than 6 months.

  • Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in adult social care settings
  • Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care

  • Understanding the role of the social care worker
  • Understanding person-centred approaches in adult social care settings
  • Understanding health and safety in social care settings
  • Understanding how to handle information in social care settings
